What you don’t want to be…

This blog is called the Mindset Of A Champion because it focuses on what it takes to win. In sport, but also in life. As a champion you don’t want to be…

  • A procrastinator that will get around to it one day…
  • A gutless person who can’t make the tough decisions to fire someone or change suppliers…
  • So undisciplined that you can’t even put aside 5 to 10 minutes a day to focus on what you really should be doing…
  • A dreamer who dreams and never makes any decision to change your predicament…
  • A fat or obese person  who keeps overeating  and doing NO exercise…
  • An athlete who justs wanst to play and never practice, reinforcing your bad habits…

Just something to think about now that you have the Mindset Of A Champion.

You are not striving to be perfect or better than anyone else. A true champion only seeks to become the best he/she can be.

Easier said than done.

Now that you know what to avoid, you can re-focus on what you want and strive to become…

  • I for one agree, I have seen so many procrastinators and dreamers. I think it’s because they find all the ‘new’ teachings to be confusing… The Secret… The Science of Getting Rich…. ‘do inspired work’, ‘only do the work you love’, ‘spend more time working on yourself than you do in your work’, ‘visualise till you are hungry for it’, ‘YOU don’t have to do it… the universe ‘does’ it’, you just have to ‘ASK for it’, ‘ask and you will receive’.

It is all so very confusing these days, no wonder people procrastinate… do I make 10 calls, or visualise the phone ringing and the perfect new client is phoning me because he was referred ?? !!

  • Toni,
I understand and appreciate this misconception. People who are looking for that silver bullet, the get rich quick solution are the ones who sit back and expect everything to be done for them.

That’s why the rewards for the proactive action takers are so big – most people never even show up on the playing field of business (or life). That means they can’t win the game from the spectator stand.

That’s why once you GET on the field, you realise there are LESS people on it than in the stands = the chance for success increases substantially.

BUT and there is always a but…

BUT, you have to take the first step onto the field. THAT is the hardest step to take.

    Many don’t have the courage.

That’s why success is for the few.

    Yet it’s accessible to all.
