Think Like Einstein

In my opinion, Albert Einstein was simply one of the greatest if not THE greatest thinker the world has ever seen… This 1 minute 19 second YouTube video
exemplifies this logical reasoning that the world so desperately needs – I am not advocating any religious agenda, but one for the clarity of reasoned thinking that this video illustrates. Enjoy!

This video was sent to me by Bruce Hildebrand of Balance and Control Pilates in Melbourne. He knows I am always looking for that special twist of the Kube so-to-speak.

A Valuable Life Lesson And Moral

The Gourmet Guardian sent me today’s post, because he knows that I am always looking for something new, fresh and insightful with a twist of irony and when there’s a meaningful lesson or moral it makes it even better! I know you’ll enjoy this one as much as I did…

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The donkey cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. If you’ve ever heard a donkey ‘cry’ you know how loud and upsetting it is.

Donkey Stuck In A Well

Donkey Stuck In A Well

Finally, the farmer decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried even more loudly in panic and fear.

Then, to everyone’s amazement the donkey quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his
back, the donkey was doing something amazing.

He would shake off the dirt and take a step up.

As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the donkey, he would shake it off and take another step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

***** MORAL OF THE STORY AND LIFE LESSON *****

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

  1. Free your heart from hatred – Forgive.
  2. Free your mind from worries – Most never happen.
  3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
  4. Give more.
  5. Expect less

NOW IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT REALLY HAPPENED …….

Only One Time Ever…

We all hear the saying one-time-only, especially in marketing… but there is a moment that will never, ever happen ever again… Sure there was the 08/08/08 for the start of the Beijing Olympics, how about when the clock strikes 12:34:56 on the 07/08/09… That’ll never happen again – ever. Just thought you’d want to know – it’s coming up soon…

Progress Is Relative

Every once in a while I get an e-mail from a client that is so powerful that I have to share it with you. This one’s anonymous for obvious reasons. It puts things in perspective because UNLESS YOU take note of your own progress, you might not realise HOW MUCH YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING…
